Universal media player is not a misnomer. As its name said it’s really a universal media player, because it not only plays media files form your computer but also it can play steamed media directly from the internet. You just require to provide the URL of the steamed media and it will start playing your favorite media file from the internet. One interesting thing about this universal media player is that, you can fully control each and every function with your keyboard and you can find keyboard shortcut list in the keyboard help window. It has a play list editor so you can make play list of all your favorite media files or if you want to adjust sound quality with equalizers then you can also do it here. And of course it provides lots of other function related to audio and video settings for best user experience. I found that it makes some load on my system during its testing, which I think is a bit more then normal. Well, presently it support all popular media files like AVI, 3gp, ASF, FLV, Matroska, MOV QuickTime, MP4, NUT, Ogg, OGM, RealMedia, DivX and lots more. Or it can also play VideoCD, SVCD, DVD, 3ivx, DivX 3/4/5 etc. |
